Pierre Theron and Ryno Beukes junior manages this division of the business with strict rules and modern genetic practices to ensure that constant improvement targets of the herd are met.  Pierre has more than 30 years’ experience in cattle farming ranging from his roots in the Camdeboo Valley near Graaff Reinet to the Highveld town of Ermelo and now Trichardt.  Bulls and heifers are prepared for reproduction on maize silage which plays an integral part of fertility and overall condition of the animals.  We regularly employ the services of an animal health specialist, nutrition advisors, herd improvement consultants, silage consultants and a veterinarian in the daily management of this division.
